with Tennessean Al Neal’s Silver Champion Diesel Dan. Neal, who lives in Tennessee Ridge bought the six-year old male and put the lead strap in the hands of Blake back in January of 2000. Blake is a PKC veteran who, at the young age of 31 has been hunting in the registry since he was seventeen.

SCH Neal’s Diesel Dan was sired by Kansas Kotter, a son of Minkler’s Kansas Dancer and is out of Girks’ Kansas Sue who is a daughter of Yadkin Tar Rattler and Thunder’s Leading Lady. The final cast, which Dan won with a score of 300 points by way of treeing two coon, was hunted in the rolling hill country around southern Illinois’ famed Rend Lake.
