Congratulations to the Good Springs, Alabama Coon Club on another AWESOME Sunshine Jamboree!!! Brad Durham reports that 76 casts scored on 159 raccoons in three nights of hunting. With their Final Four win last night, it appears that Dustin Weed and Landreth's Full Throttle Meltdown have unofficially captured the PKC monthly Open Event earnings record with $2,290. If the record has been broken, this would be the third time this record has been bested at the PKC Sunshine Jamboree. Thanks to all who worked the long hours putting on this great event and to everyone who traveled the many miles to participate. We appreciate you all!

What a great turnout for the second night of the 2016 PKC Sunshine Jamboree in Northwestern Alabama. Brad Durham reports that there were 65 raccoons scored on in a cool January night. Time to load up, there is only one more night left to get your Sunshine Jam on in Good Springs, Alabama.

The 2016 PKC Senior Dog Showdown - This Week!

The sixty-four (64) member field for the 2016 PKC Senior Showdown has been confirmed. The event is scheduled for February 5 & 6, 2016 at the Isle of Capri Casino in Lula, Mississippi. Co-sponsored by PKC, Purina, SportDOG, and the Isle of Capri Casino, the winner drives home in a brand new pickup truck from Lynn Layton Ford of Decatur, Alabama! The event is a single elimination event, conducted under Pro Rules with non-hunting judges, with early round cast winners advancing to the late round on Friday night. The four late round cast winners compete on Saturday night for the keys to the brand spanking new pickup truck! In addition to the pickup truck that will be awarded on Saturday night, those members of the final cast not winning the truck will receive $2,000 to the runner-up, $1,000 to third place, and $500 to fourth place.
