by and a $1,000 Added Purse Open Event. When the deadline to return scorecards had arrived, the low score qualifying for the Pup Derby Final Four was 400+, and the low score for the Open Event was an astounding 800+! The finalists in the Pup Derby elected to split the awards and call it a night. However, the finalists in the Open Event decided to recast. The Final Cast was marred with tragedy, when Gold Champion Foxy Brown, owned and handled by David Know of Tallahassee, Florida was killed on the road. “Foxy”, as she was affectionately known, has scored major wins all over the United States in PKC events. In February, David handled her to a spot in the coveted 2003 Handler Showdown. Our condolences and sympathies are extended to David on the loss of this fine hound. We know you will miss her.
