James Loudermilk, filed the following report on the Saturday night edition of the event:
“Coons were moving much better Saturday night than Friday as better scores came in. When all was said and done Duran Link and Chubby took home top honors as the final four went back out to settle the hunt on a pleasant evening for August in Southwestern Virginia.

Twenty-five dogs were entered and, after a long weekend, host club spokesman, James Loudermilk, was very pleased with this year’s hunt. Thanks to all guides and judges for both nights and to Matt Hall and Jamie Paynter for guiding and judging the late round on Saturday.”
