, February 3 & 4, at the Isle of Capri in Lula, MS. The following forty-eight handlers, bested the competition during the 2005 season to earn a spot in the event and a chance to compete for a brand spanking new Ford F-150 4 X 4 extended cab pickup truck!
The field consists of 23 males and 23 females, with two handlers undecided. Of these 46 entries, 5 are Black & Tans, 1 is a Cross-Bred, 2 are English, and the remaining 38 are Walkers. From these 4 Breeds, 12 are Platinum Champions, 10 are Gold Champions, 8 are Silver Champions, and 13 are Champions, with the accumulated lifetime PKC earnings of the field being an astounding $682,000.00 plus!
Eleven states are represented with Tennessee leading the field with 10 entries, followed by Georgia with 6 entries, Illinois, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Oklahoma with 4 each, Ohio and South Carolina with 3 each, Alabama and Indiana with 2 each, and Arkansas, Louisiana, Michigan, North Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia with one representative each.
