Coon Island Beagle Club hosted the 2012 PKC Missouri State Championship on Saturday, October 6th. 24 Hunters came out on the cool fall morning to compete. Pillar's Little Bonnie, owned by Harold Pillar of Columbus, KS came out victorious in the final, earning $272 and a ticket to the 2013 National Championship! Ought Six Flamin Son of a Blitz, owned by Chris Broadway, handled by Jeffrey Roberts finished second. A special thanks goes out to Carl McElhaney and Bob Brattin for serving as non-hunting judges in the semi-finals and finals. Great job Coon Island Beagle Club, your club is top notch and always a great host! Thank you for your hospitality!
