Eddie says that everyone will be loaded and ready to leave at 7:30.  Should have a little action around 8:00 pm.
He told Shane the we have a new rule the cast can walk no faster than the reporter can walk and text without running into a tree.

Cast on the way to the woods, they had to leave just before the pizza arrived at the clubhouse and Eddie is of the very mistaken opinion that the will save some until they get back.

Slow rolling down a gravel road, won't be long!!!

Fixin to cut'um.  The Good Lord sure created a beautiful night for the finals, cool and the stars are out.

And we are cut at 7:50:
Jim struck for 100
Cilla for 75
KC for 50

Quick call:  Jim Dandy and KC are called at the same time  for 87 each then decided that there was a bigger coon in the corn field the needed running and drew a minus right of the box.

Eddie says he is doing well in the "keeping up" department, all this action and a red hot race 50 yards in front of them.  He has not moved out of his tracks.

Got him lined out now and they are in for some walking.

Two dog race KC has gotten quiet, Ryan says she is putting the silent treadment on the coon.  He better look out or she will "scoop".

Peeled bark,
Jim treed for 100
KC for 25
Cilla for 25
Going to look.

The coon was in plain view upon arrival and dogs are plussed up except Cilla, She didn't answer roll call and drew minus on tree.

Walked the minute and Cilla opened and Jim and KC struck for 25.

KC didn't go far until she found another tree and is called for 100.  She is down and solid.

Neither of the other dogs chose to honor the tree.  Five is up and cast is at the tree ready to shine.  Jim and Cilla are working close by.

Chad is beating on the tree and everyone else is spread out looking.

Jim Dandy has found a tree he likes and is called for 100.  Ole Dandy is my kind of dog; big bawl on the ground and steady chop on the tree.  He's sounding good.

KC gets a circle, boy she sure needed a plus. Headed toward the Jim Dandy

KC struck for 25, and lined through.  Jim is treed alone.

Cilla is treed in the distance for 100

Cast is at Cilla's tree and everyone looking hard

KC is treed again for 100 a good ways off.

Jim Dandy drew a circle also and cast is on the way to Cilla, KC is working again with a 25 strike.

Jim Dandy is leading the cast with 112+
KC has 12-
Cilla has 25- with 175 pending

Cilla had bad luck on her tree, coon moved left no forwarding address.  Cilla collects 175 minus

Cast on the way to KC's tree and Cilla struck and treed for 100, She may be telling the cast that they didn't look good enough.

It is not the same tree and eveyone is looking.  It is a pleasure to hunt in a cast where everyone helps each other.

Jim Dandy is treed again.  My kind of cast; either shining a tree or going to a tree.  HANG IN THERE EDDIE!!

He seemed to be about a day and half walk and Jim has not missed a beat.  I love walking (or riding) to a good tree dog.

About 8 minutes left and the scores as I have them are:

Jim 12-
KC 12-
Cilla 75-

And this very well may not be right, not sure we didn't lose something in the translation while things were hot and heavy.

Eddie says they have

KC for 12+
Jim Dandy for 12-
Cilla for 50-

I guess I had some of those strike 25s that were deleted instead of minus.

That is the way it ends, Ryan and KC are our Senior Champion and Kevin and Jim Dandy are Reserve Champion and Chad Cilla are third place.

Eddie says that the scorecard really does not show it but it was a truly fun cast and everyone was a true gentleman.

THANKS TO ALL WHO MADE IT POSSIBLE!!!

Eddie wants to know if there is any of that pizza left at the clubhouse, he is having a very low energy attack?
