A very light drizzling rain prior to entry time brought 140 contenders out to the Decatur County 4-H Fairgrounds tonight.  The rain dwindled quickly before the entry deadline and the sun peaked out shortly before setting.  The raccoon movement was a shade better, and seventy-five were turned into plus points during the ninety minute contest.  The Weatherman is predicting a beautiful day and evening for your final shot tomorrow.  Come on out and see us!  Tonight's Final Four split the $1,000 Added Purse and decided hunt for the $1,160 in PKC Open Event Awards. The other thirty-one cast winners enjoyed the popular $100 guaranteed earnings.  Shown below are Friday’s Final Four competitors (L-R):

Thursday night at the 2019 PKC Labor Day Classic had us hopping with 135 eager hunters ready to hit the timber at entry deadline.  Today's warmer temperatures in the 80's subsided and we had a great, cool evening for a Coon Hunt!  The early round casts scared up a few more raccoon tonight, with 72 showing up on the scorecards.  The Final Cast decided that they had not yet had enough and headed back out for another 90 minutes to determine who had the best for the night. Thirty other cast winners enjoyed the popular $100 CW earnings, while the Final Four split the $1,000 Added Purse and hunted for the $1,160 in PKC Open Event Awards. Shown below are Thursday’s Final Four (L-R):

The third round of the 2019 PKC Labor Day Classic Warm-Ups, sponsored by Earl Floyd Ford of Carrolton, Kentucky drew well tonight, with 67 PKC Members showing up to take their chances by the 8:00 PM entry deadline.  The raccoon are still spending most of their time in the wild cherries and oaks, rather than doing much "walking".  Most casts reported seeing many more coon laying up, than the twenty-three shown on the scorecards.  Tomorrow begins the three major nights of the LDC, featuring $100 guaranteed cast wins, along with much larger purses.  Come on out and join us at the Decatur County 4-H Fairgrounds!  Tonight's Final Four split the $500 Added Purse, along with the $1,160 in PKC Open Event Earnings and the jackpot cash.  The other fourteen cast winners earned $52.50 each for their efforts.  Shown below are Wednesday’s Final Four (L-R):

The second night of the 2019 PKC Labor Day Classic started out with a little sunshine, so at least the corn and soybeans were not quite as damp to walk through.  We had a 56 hounds and hunters show up looking for cash, fame and fortune.  The raccoon movement was slow going tonight with only fifteen scored on during regulation time.  We look forward to seeing you the rest of the week at t

The first night of the 2019 PKC Labor Day Classic was a wet one, but we still had a pretty good showing at 60 entries. The small Southeastern, Indiana town of Greensburg was teaming with out of state-ers looking to claim a portion of the PKC Cash! All but one cast scored on raccoon in the one-hour contest, 26 in total.  Everyone seemed to be having a great time on their return to the Decatur County 4-H Fairgrounds. The Final Four split the $500 Added Purse along with the $1,100 in PKC Open Event Earnings.  The other eleven cast winners split $550.  Shown below are Monday’s Final Four (L-R):
