Congratulations to 2018 PKC Labor Day Classic - Bobby Wilson Memorial Champion; “Planes Blu Horizon Honey”. Honey is a 2011 Bluetick female owned and handled by Ryan St Mary of North Bangor, New York. Honey accumulated 475 plus points in three early round cast wins Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. LDC Champions Ryan and Honey, shown below, earned an extra $200 Added Purse and the LDC Champion Plaque.

We kicked off the first night in the last month of the 2018 PKC season at the Decatur County 4-H Fairgrounds tonight with 129 dogs heading out into the timber. WOW, what an awesome ending to the six-night PKC Labor Day Classic at Greensburg. We hunted 620 entries, an average of 103 per night. For those who think that long lines at the entry table are a thing of the past, you should have been here this week! A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to everyone who worked so hard this week judging, guiding, selling jackpot or raffle tickets, setting up, tearing down, and to all those who just came to enter their dog, we appreciate you all!! Twenty-nine lucky members cashed in on the popular $100 cast win earnings, while the Final Four split the $1,000 Added Purse and hunted for the $1,160 in PKC Open Event Awards. Light drizzling rain brought out 138 eager hounds and hunters to the Decatur County 4-H Fairgrounds tonight. The rain subsided quickly before the entry deadline and the sun peaked out shortly before setting. The Weatherman is predicting more sunshine and calm skies tomorrow. Come on out and see us! The Final Four split the $1,000 Added Purse and decided hunt for the $1,160 in PKC Open Event Awards. The other thirty-one cast winners enjoyed the popular $100 guaranteed earnings. Thursday night at the 2018 PKC Labor Day Classic had us hopping with 146 eager hunters ready to hit the timber at entry deadline. The temperature and humidity had moderated a little and we had a great evening for a Coon Hunt! The Final Cast decided that they had not yet had enough and headed back out for another 90 minutes to determine who had the best for the night. Thirty-three cast winners enjoyed the popular $100 guaranteed earnings, while the Final Four split the $1,000 Added Purse and hunted for the $1,160 in PKC Open Event Awards. The third round of the 2018 PKC Labor Day Classic Warm-Up portion drew well tonight, with 75 PKC Members showing up to take their chances by the 8:00 PM entry deadline. The raccoon movement backed off a little, as evidenced by the scores below. Tomorrow begins the three major nights of the LDC, featuring $100 guaranteed cast wins, along with the larger purses. Come on out and join us at the Decatur County 4-H Fairgrounds! The Final Four split the $500 Added Purse tonight along with the $1,160 in PKC Open Event Earnings and the jackpot cash.
