2015 PKC Fall Super Stakes Championships Coming Up!
The 2015 PKC Fall Super Stakes Championships get underway next week in Salem, Illinois. Clayton, Vern, David and Mary Dial, the City of Salem, the Salem Club and our satellite clubs at Flora, IL, Claremont, IL and Sesser, IL are ready for a big week!
Qualifying nights will be Monday through Thursday with dogs winning two (2) casts (early and late) on either qualifying night advancing to the semi-final rounds on Friday night.
Entries may be confirmed from 3 pm until 5 pm each day Monday through Thursday. Non-reserved entries will also be accepted during this time. Calling of first round casts will take place at 5:30 pm daily.
First time entry fee is $100, and re-entry fee is $200 for those with reservations. For those members failing to make reservations, first time entry fee is $140, and re-entry fee is $240.
Vendors will be setting up on Sunday afternoon, September 27th.
The 2015 Fall Freshman “Baby” Super Stakes Championship for 2015 model fall pups (birth dates 11/01/14 to 04/30/15) will be held on Saturday, October 3rd. Entry fee for the event is $65 for reserved entries and $90 for those that do not have reservations.
There will also be a one (1) hour $250 Added Purse $50 Open Event on Saturday night, 10/03/15. Entry Fee is $60.
Please note: Due to the PKC Staff attending the 2015 Fall Super Stakes Championships, the PKC Office will close each day at noon Monday September 28 – Thursday October 01.

PKC New York State President, Matt Wilday, provided the following report. “The 6th night of the 2015 PKC Nor’Easter is over with, showing 3 more new faces in the winner’s circle. The two-hour hunt, featuring a $500 added purse, saw 20 handlers brave the elements. The winners decided to split, that probably had to do with the rain that was coming down sideways when the decision had to be made to split or hunt. Again we would like to thank everyone who came and supported our hunt and hope to see everyone next year for the 7th Annual PKC Nor’Easter. Please see this year's PKC Nor’Easter Champions below. We put 125 dogs in the woods that scored on 48 raccoon, with 24 different cast winning dogs for the week without one question being brought back for a panel. Congratulations to all the winners.
