The 2014 PKC Youth World Championship gets underway Friday at the Marion County Fairgrounds in Salem, Illinois.  We look forward to seeing everyone there!  Please be safe in your travels ...

                                                 
2014 PKC YOUTH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
—Schedule of Events—

Friday, October 24th

YOUTH LUNCHEON............................... 12:00 PM
There will be a Youth Banquet sponsored by PKC, AMERICAN COONER, and PURINA at the Salem Activity Center located at 416 Oglesby St in Salem, IL at noon. All Youth Hunters and parents/guardians are invited to attend.

INDIVIDUAL PICTURES.............. 1:30 PM - 5:00 PM
Carol Tynes with Tynes’ Photography will be available to take individual pictures of all Youth Hunters and their dogs between 1:30 and 5:00 pm on Friday, October 24th.

ENTRY CONFIRMATIONS............ 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Youth Hunters may confirm their entry in the Youth World Championship at Hunt Headquarters.

JACKETS / caps Issued............ 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
We will be issuing a jacket and cap to each participant in the championship, compliments of AMERICAN COONER and NESTLE-PURINA.

GROUP PICTURE..................................... 5:00 PM
All Youth Hunters are asked to gather at the spot designated at the Salem Fairgrounds for a group picture at 5:00 PM. Please wear your cap and jacket!!!

CALLING OF CASTS................................. 6:00 PM Casts will be called for cast pictures. We ask that all judge and guides be available and included in the cast pictures. Casts will depart for casting areas immediately after your cast picture has been taken.
 

Saturday, October 25th

WORLD BENCH SHOW ENTRIES... 11:00 AM - NOON
Entries will be taken for the Youth World Championship Bench Show beginning at 11:00 AM on Saturday. All youth hunters are encouraged to compete.

YOUTH WORLD BENCH SHOW................. NOON

YOUTH FUND AUCTION.......................... 4:00 PM
An auction will be held beginning at 4:00 PM to benefit the PKC Youth Program.

YOUTH OPEN EVENT................... 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
$30 Entry Fee
$1,000 Added Purse
Entry deadline 6:00 PM
One (1) Hour Hunt / Automatic Split of Added Purse
All Cast Winners Guaranteed $100
All eligible youth hunters are encouraged to enter.

YOUTH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL.. 5:00 PM Entries will be confirmed for the finalists of the Youth World Championship. Pictures will be taken, and casts will depart for casting grounds shortly thereafter.

CALLING OF CASTS................................. 6:00 PM
Casts will be called for the finalists of the Youth World Championship, followed by cast calling of the Added Purse Youth Open Event.
