Thirty-two hounds that successfully reached the semifinal round of the 2001 PKC Futurity have been reduced to eight cast winners after the early round of competition on Saturday night in Sesser, Illinois. They are:

These eight hounds hunted in four, two-dog casts late Saturday night. The winners of those four casts will comprise the Final Four to be run Sunday evening. We will report the Final Four later today as those winners become available. Losers in the early round Saturday night took home $500. Losers in the late round took home a check in the amount of $1200. The Final Four will pay $12,000, $5000, $3500, and $2500 to the first through fourth place finishers.
