For those of us on the PKC staff, the last ten days have been extremely busy but also extremely rewarding. We are well into the final day of the hunt and the entry of nearly 1500 hounds has been reduced to the Final Eight. We have also seen the Youth Hunters finishing two rounds on Friday night and are now down to a Final Eight as well. In addition we’ve crowned a brand new PKC World Show Champion. What an exciting day!
The PKC World Show Championship was won by a hound that has been in the winner’s circle at PKC shows all year. He’s River Pine Flying Hawk, a Treeing Walker male owned and handled by David Sessoms, of North Carolina. The Reserve World Champion is Flint River Morgan, a Redbone female owned by Kriss Callahan of Senoia, Georgia.
