Treeing Walker Founder Dies

Lester Nance of Arcadia, Indiana passed away on Sunday, December 9th. Mr. Nance is noted as the individua l who pressed for registration of the Treeing Walker coonhound. His Nance-bred "White River" Treeing Walkers were known far and wide. Mr. Nance also authored a book on the origin of the Treeing Walker coonhound.

Friends may call at the Hartley Funeral Home, Arcadia Indiana on Tuesday, December 11th between 4:00 and 8:00 pm. Services will be held Wednesday, December 12th at 2:00 pm at the Omega Christian Church.
