2016 Texas State Meeting Minutes 3-25-16
Meeting called to order at 6:45.
22 members present.
Discussed why the state hunt was moved from Midway to Paris this year.
New clubs that are opening up was mentioned along with the need to support the local clubs.
Opened the floor for any old business which there wasn't any.
Opened the floor for any new business: Open discussion to hold a raffle to boost the state escrow with several good ideas. Discussed next year's state hunt location. Bryan, Kerens, Fairfield and Queen City were all mentioned. Joe Manning made a motion to hold the state hunt in Kerens, and it was 2nd by Guy Manning. Motion carried with all being in favor. If for some reason Kerens can't hold the hunt, Fairfield will be the next option followed by Bryan.
Open discussion on holding added hunts next year the week of the state hunt. Scotty Norwood made a motion to hold warm up hunts during the week of the state hunt next year, 2nd by Guy Manning. The motion carried with all being in favor. It was decided that Queen City, Paris, Bryan and Hearne would hold the warm up hunts.
Meeting adjourned at 7:40

PKC Texas State Association Minutes of Meeting - Corsicana, TX
—March 10, 2017—
Meeting called to order at 6:35 PM by President Josh Howard with 25 members present.
Opened the floor for old business.
Discussed the issue of the warm up hunts that we voted last year to have this year. There were too many clubs with conflicting dates. If we want to try that next year, the hunt directors need to schedule it when they said in their hunt schedule.
Held a discussion on why the state escrow was low and possible fundraisers to increase it.
Opened the floor for new business and asked if there was any clubs wanting to hold the state hunt next year.
Guy Manning made a motion for Fairfield to hold the 2018 state hunt, and Joe Manning seconded the motion. The motion carried for Fairfield to host the state hunt.
Discussed a series of youth hunts to be held in 2017 to try and get more youth involved.
Josh Howard made a motion to order the State Youth winner a jacket and pay for it with the State escrow funds. Joe Manning seconded. The motion carried.

Queen City, TX - March 8, 2019
Josh Howard called the meeting to order at 6:10 pm wil 26 members present.
Opened the floor for old business, there wasn't any.

2021 Annual Meeting Minutes - Campbell, TX
March 12, 2021
Meeting called to order at 6:10 by Josh Howard with 24 members present. Escrow Budget report was given by Howard. Opened the floor for any old business, there was none.
Opened the floor for any new business. A discussion was held about the possibility of holding a Pro Classic in conjunction with the state hunt, with a discussion included about using escrow money to pay the entry fee for the top 16.
Lufkin, TX, nominated by Austin Beusse, and Buffalo, TX, nominated by Chance Lynch, were nominated as locations for the 2022 State Championship. Buffalo, TX was selected as the site for the 2022 State Championship by a majority vote of 14 to 10 on the same weekend as the 2021 State Championship.
Chance Lynch made a motion, seconded by Luke Billings, to use $250 from escrow for the Youth State Championship added purse. Motion passed unanimously.
Chance Lynch made a motion, seconded by Luke Billings, to use $250 from escrow for the Open Event added purse at the 2022 State Championship.. Motion passed unanimously.
With no other business to discuss, Chance Lynch made a motion, seconded by Luke Billings, to adjourn meeting.

2022 Minutes of Meeting – Buffalo, TX
Friday – March 11, 2022
Meeting called to order at 6:15.
24 members in attendance.
Started off by congratulating a few Texas members on a great 2021:
Laret Manning winning the Youth Handler Showdown with Hank. Mallori Oliver had a huge year winning the Texas Youth State Championship, Texas Breaking Curfew Youth Championship, the Texas Youth State Leader and the National Youth Leader with Grace. Thunderbirds Kennels and Cole McVeay and Joe Manning had a huge year as well being the Texas State Leader and National Pup Leader with Ike and winning the World Championship with Goose.
Congrats again to all of them with their awesome accomplishments!
Current budget reports were read.
Old Business: We did not have any.
New Business:
Preston Boles nominated and made a motion for Taylortown to host next year's state hunt. Ronnie Rister 2nd the motion. The motion carried with all in favor. Taylortown will put up $750 for the added purse. Preston made a motion to take $500 out of the state escrow for added purse. Nick Cain 2nd the motion. The motion carried with all in favor.
*It was discussed and decided the $500 out of escrow could be changed if the budget drops due to economic impacts of fuel prices causing less attendance at the hunts.
Ronnie Rister made a motion to take $250 out of the youth escrow for the Youth State Hunt again. Preston 2nd the motion. The motion carried with all in favor.
Discussed process of rule changes.
Luke Billings made a motion with a 2nd from Joe Manning to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 6:45.
