...

cast should be ready to cut the dogs in about 45 minutes

Cast is finally at the woods, judge is presenting his last minute instructions.

Dogs are collared up and czst at 9:38 EDT

Worm struck for 100 and the six is working already

Worm takes a minus on his 100 strike

Son is struck for 100, and he is flirting with the six minute

Ruby says she wants to play and is struck for 75

The Worm strikes back in for 50

Ruby has found a tree she likes and is treed for 100

Gonna take a little while to leg it out, she is pretty deep

Ruby takes a break and judge is running the two

she spit out the vine and the six is broke

Cast just arrived at the tree and are beginning to shine

Worm has warmed up a tree to the right and is treed for 100

Son is treed for 50 in the same direction as Worm

The judge has declared Ruby's tree empty and has minused her 175-, there is some difference of opinion.

Worm and Son are on seperate trees.

Don't take long, plus up the Worm, walking to Son

Don't take long there either, plus him up.

SCORE AT PRESENT:

Son .......200+

Worm.....150+ with 100- ....= 50+

Ruby ..... 175-

All dogs are recast, bout 1:15 left to hunt

We are struck again: Son for 100; Ruby for 75; Worm for 50

Stationare on Ruby

Yep; Ruby treed for 100

Cast has arrived at the Ruby Tree.

Bad news for the Ruby, this one does not have a coon either; she gets another 175-

She is recast with some new instructions.

Ruby back in action for 25

Dogs are all locked in on "trail mode" in a big swampy bottom the looks like a coon paradise.

May need to bring in reinforcements

Looks like the frogs should be making a lot of noise in a big bottom like this, but the 32 degrees last may have sulled them up

The Worm left the other dogs there to baby-sit the big bottom coons and slipped out and found a tree deep.

He is treed for 100 and the cast is moving that way.

If he has his coon he will go to the head of the class with 300+ and 100- giving him a total score of 200+ and tie breakers.

Arrived at the Worm tree and there was a big ole coon in the first fork; plus him 150+

SCORE AT PRESENT:

Worm.....300+ with 100- ....= 200+

Son .......200+

Ruby ..... 350-

Ruby comes in for a quick look at the scorecard and takes a 25 minus.

Six is a working on Son

bout 27 minutes left in the cast

Six is broke and Worm is cast; Ruby has decided the third place is not so bad and has withdrawn.

Worm struck for another 25.

Son is treed for 100 and the cast is looking forward to a one mile walk.

Ten minutes left in the cast and we are still walking to Son

Two running on Son; he barked just before the handler fainted.

Two running again, they are getting pretty close.

He barked again, two minutes left in the hunt

Hunt is over and cast is in "quick step" trying to get to the tree.

We are there, shining right now.

There is no convincing evidence it the tree and it is scored minus

FINAL SCOFRES

WORM...300+ WITH 100-. FINAL SCORE 200+; 2016 SUPER STAKE SR CHAMPION

SON ... 200+ WITH 200- FINAL SCORE 0; 2016 SUPER STAKE SR RESERVE CHAMPION

RUBY ... 350- FINAL SCORE; 2016 SUPER STAKE CHAMPION THIRD PLACE

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL!!!
