Cast has left for the woods and should by in action in the next half hour.

Still waiting for the action, should be soon.

Just pulled up to the woods, moon beginning to shine bright, 48 degrees, pretty night for coonhunting. Everyone shaking hands and wishing each other the best.

Dogs cast at 8:15 Illinois time.
*****
No strike in the first minute.
*****
Still waiting for a dog to bark.
*****
Sport strikes for 100.
*****
Sport trees for 100, Trax strikes for 75 after the tree call. Cast has a long walk to Sports tree.
*****
Listening the final seconds before the five is up on the tree.
*****
Trax treed for 25, still a long ways from the tree, but it is good clean woods and good walking, should not take too long.
*****
Aproaching tree, a big oak and two dogs handled.
*****
Tree dead, circle-em up. Drive struck for 50
Sport and Trax recast.
*****
Drive treed for 100
*****
Sport strikes for 25 after the tree call
*****
Trax also strikes for 25 after the tree call. It is a short walk to the tree and should be there shortly after the time is up on tree.
*****
Sport trees in for 25 just before time is up.
*****
Sport and Drive handled at tree, and it does not take but just a minute to plus it up.
******
Drive - 150+
Sport - 25+
Trax - All Circle.
Bout 1:25 left to hunt.
*****
Sport and Drive recast and are struck very soon for 25 each.
*****
My reporter says that it is not as cool as he thought it was going to be, now he needs a "sweat rag".
*****
They must have squalled one down, they are all on a hot screaming track.
Sport treed for 100.
*****

*****
Sport is treed across the creek, everyone "pull up your boots".
Sport handled at the tree.
*****
Cast is listening the last minute.
Drive trees for 100 on a different tree.
******
Another bigg oak, may very likely be a den tree.
******
Shining Sports tree.
Trax does not like either one of the trees and is trailing out to the right.
******
Looks like the coon made it home, circle Sport again.
Trax treed on a different tree.
Sport, leash locked for a while.

Bout an hour left in the hunt.
*****
Cast has arrived at Drive's tree, it is another big oak.
*****
Drive is circled up, the cast is going to Trax. I think the tree is pretty close.
*****
Arriving at Trax tree and it is another leafy big oak.
*****
Trax is circled up too. Cast is walking the minute.
Bout a half hour left.
*****
Dogs are cut and pure silence for the minute. No babblers on this cast.
*****
Sport struck for 100
******
Trax struck for 75
******
Scores at present:

Drive -- 150+
Sport -- 25+
Trax -- 0
*****
Drive strikes in for 50
Cold track and the dogs are bumping their nose.
*****
Dogs are still fumbling around with a bad track, and Trax pulls the trigger for 100.
Sport trees in for 50.
******
Approximately twenty minutes left in the cast.
*****
Time up and cast is approaching the tree.
*****
Another big leafy oak, coon eyes are hard to find.
******
Sport and Trax are circled again.
Before they could be re-cast Drive was treed for 100
They are at Drive's tree with nine minutes left.
*****
Most likely the cast will be over at this tree. Most likely not enough time to recast if they shine the full 8 minures. If the tree is minus Drive would move to second, circle or plus and he is the winner.
*****
Coon eyes in the tree, plus up the Drive. He now has 300+.
*****
They may try to recast.
*****
Dogs are recast with four minutes left.
*****
Drive strikes for 100
*****
Hunt over:
Overdrive - 300+ cast winner
Sport - 25+ 2nd place
Trax - 325 Circle for 3rd place.
*****
