The Cast is headed to the woods and we should have a report shortly of them turning loose.
____
Cast reporter Michael Ward reports that the fog is setting in heavier and heavier as the get closer to the hunting grounds.
____
The cast has arrived at the hunting grounds and they say it looks like a good place. The cast is getting their gear on and getting ready to go.
____
After a quick prayer and instruction from Judge Jackie Newton the dogs are cast into a nice flat bottom.
____
There is action! Nuck struck for 100 Candy for 75 and Bella for 50. They appear to be running a pretty good track.
____
After about a working the track about 200 yds. Nuck is treed for 100, Candy for 75 and Bella made it in for 50.
The cast is headed for them now across a plowed field to look at the tree.
____
We have the first coon scored all three dogs were handled aand the coon was looking down with both eyes shining! Judge Jackie lead them back the minute and they were cast back into the bottom!

Nuck struck again for 100, Bella shortly thereafter for 75, and Candy for 50. Michael says "Looks like a good spot for a coon" and sounds like another good track.

Dogs are giving alot of mouth on the track, but don't seem to be moving quite as fast and not covering much ground. The guide is moving the cast closer for better hearing.
____
Bella was treed for 100, but decided to keep moving right handed and is minused 100.
____
Dogs finally get track moved out of the area and Candy is treed by 100, then Bella for 75, and Nuck follows suit for 50. The cast is headed that direction in some pretty woods getting into some rolling hills.

All three dogs handled at a bushy tree with vines all over it, but the coon is found!
____
After scoring the tree the dogs are lead down the hill to a small ditch and recast.
____
Bella and Candy are struck, but Judge Jackie decides it is all one dog and Candy takes 100-. Shortly there after Bella returns to the cast to take a 100- herself.
____
Nuck struck for 100, Bella 75....Bella treed for 100 and Candy struck for 50 with a line.
Candy and Nuck treed for 25.

All three dogs are on the previously scored tree. Delete the tree and strikes.
The cast calls timeout to move locations. with 1hr. and 15 minutes left to hunt.

Here are how the scores stand to this point.
Nuck 350+
Candy 200+
Bella 50+

Cast has arrived at the next place to look for a coon and are walking across the road to cast the dogs.The dogs headed across a corn field to what appears to be a big patch of timber.

The dogs are struck in this order Candy 100, Nuck 75, Bella 50. The run about a 50 yd track and jam treed in the same order Candy 100, Nuck 75, and Bella for 50. They are on not to big of a tree. Could be good or BAD!

Tree is plussed up!

Walked the minute thru a clear patch of woods and the dogs are cast on small creek. Nuck struck for 100, Bella for 75, and Candy for 50.

Stationary started on Nuck. Appears to have gone back to same tree.
____
Nuck is treed and time has expired with all three dogs being there. It was definitely the same tree and Candy and Bella's strike being deleted with both being deleted for Nuck.

After the minute dogs have been cast back up a small creek.
____
After about three minutes dogs and a couple hundred yards are struck Bella for 100, Candy for 75, and Nuck for 50.
____
The track seems to be getting worse and dogs are getting deeper. Cast is headed thru a flat wet bottom that seems to be nice.
____
Judge Newton is working the 6 off and on.
____
The scores stands as;
Nuck 500+
Candy 400+
Bella 150+

Cast reports that the track seems to be picking up. The cast is slowly working there way towards the dogs to hear them better.There is 39 minutes left at this point.

We have some action Candy treed for 100 and Nuck treed for 75.

Nuck minused 75 for moving. Cast is headed in the direction of Candy.
____
Candy is minused 100 for leaving the tree as well. Stationary is working on Bella and Candy while Nuck is deep and lonely working a track.
____
Candy is treed again for 100.
____
Currently the score stands as:
Nuck 425+
Candy 300+ with 175 pending
Bella 150+
____
Candy is minused 175 and Bella is handled at the tree and recieves 100 deleted strike. As the cast walks away about 20 yards Nuck is treed for 100 leaving the other two leash locked and they head for Nuck to score his tree.
____
With 1 minute left in the hunt they arrive and are beginning to shine it is a small tree with not many leaves.

Nuck's tree is minused!

Nuck is the new Spring Junior Super Stakes Champion with 275+

Bella is the Reserve Champion with 150+

Candy finishes 3rd with 125+
