The Hunt of a Lifetime

Postby Todd Hodson » Thu Jan 08, 2015 12:56 am

I have heard this statement several times usually to describe a big game hunt or a hunt that
was great fun. When I look back at all the hunts I have been on I have TRULY BEEN BLESSED.
The Lord has given me the opportunity to set on mountain tops and watch the sunrise and set.
Been coon hunting with friends and laughed until I cried. But the hunt of my lifetime was the
hunt for my salvation. When I was young my mom planted the seed, but it took awhile to sprout.
For several years to say that I was running with the devil might be a under statement. Then one
day the Lord started pulling at me. He set obstacles in front of me and I kept fighting thru them
on my own until He broke me almost completely down. When I finally turned to Him the recovery
was very slow(pretty sure He had a point to prove)but complete. I'm so glad that he gave me the
time that I needed to finish this hunt. DO NOT WAIT TO LONG to go on this hunt. Our days here are
numbered but Heaven is for Eternity. There are still struggles today, but they are so much easier
when you let Jesus carry the load. THANK YOU LORD for saving a sinner like me. :)
