PKC Ownership Transfer Policy - Revised

Postby Jerry Moll » Wed Jan 31, 2018 11:19 am

The PKC Transfer of Ownership Policy has been revised, effective March 1, 2018. Sellers should always fill in the “Date of Sale” when selling any PKC Registered dog. The fee to transfer from one (1) owner to another is $15. Any ownership transfer received more than thirty (30) days after the date of sale recorded on the Bill Of Sale on the reverse side of the registration papers will cause a $20 fine to be assessed to the new owner and the date of sale recorded in the PKC database will be the date the transfer request was received at the PKC Office. PKC and/or a Disciplinary Panel may restrict the right of a member to transfer dog(s) to another owner if under penalty for misconduct or indebtedness to PKC. When entering a PKC Event, it is the Handler's responsibility to provide the correct dog's name and PKC number, registered Owner's Name and Account Number, Handler's Name and Account Number and to insure that both the Owner and Handler have a current membership. Dogs will not receive credit for awards earned if the dog, owner and handler information is not current and/or accurate.
Prepare yourself and your hound. Hunt the dog, read the Blue Book, and your Good Book!
