Use Of “Dummy Collars” During PKC Hunts?

Postby Jerry Moll » Tue Jun 06, 2017 11:16 am

Since the latest Tracking/Training Rules update became effective on May 1, 2017, there have been questions about the use of “Dummy Collars”. We presented this question to the PKC Executive Committee for their interpretation. Based upon the PKC Executive Committee’s unanimous decision; dogs may not wear a Dummy Collar or an inactive Training Collar during hunting time at any PKC Event. To give sufficient time for communication, this clarification becomes effective starting Monday June 12, 2017. See rule #5.C. at this link: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=168156
