How To Reduce Your Club's Late Hunt Report Issues

-- Hunt Directors --

The US Postal Service is not what it used to be. Please do not simply put a stamp or stamps on your hunt report envelope and drop it in a mail box. Here are a few suggestions that will get you much better service and your club’s hunt results posted much faster.

If your club holds two hunts each month, NEVER hold the first Hunt Report just so that you can send it with the second Hunt Report. The few extra cents that you spend on postage will be well worth avoiding all the hassles and the $20 Late Hunt report fine.

1. The night of your hunt, put the Hunt Report, Scorecards, Memberships, Registrations and payment in the “PKC Envelope" that you have been provided. Seal up your envelope right away, so that nothing gets lost.

2. Make sure you have PKC's current address on the envelope: PO Box 4759 Evansville, IN 47724-0759

3. Make sure that you put your return address on the envelope.

4. Only send checks or money orders, NEVER SEND CASH!

5. The very next day go a local Post Office. If this is not possible for you, please designate a club member who can.

6. Go inside the Post Office and have the clerk weigh your envelope to ensure the proper amount of postage is being applied.

If you take ALL of the steps above for every hunt you have, satisfaction with your club's hunt results being posted will dramatically increase and problems with late or lost hunt reports will be dramatically reduced.
