Postby Jerry Moll » Wed Sep 05, 2012 3:51 pm

PKC Open Event Hunt Director Instructions, page 43 Blue Book.

Fourth Place Tie In Qualifying For O-E Final -
When there are more than four scorecards qualifying for an Open Event final due to ties that cannot be broken by rule #18 in the Open Event Rules, please refer to the following.

When the Final Cast has decided to split the awards, handlers tied for fourth place have two options:
#1 Add the equal Final Four Split and cast win monies (if any) and divide by number of tied dogs
#2 Flip coin(s) to determine which dog will receive the final split and which dog(s) will receive cast win earnings (if any)

When the Final Cast has decided to hunt for the awards, handlers tied for fourth place have two options:
#1 Split fourth place and cast win monies (if any)
#2 Flip coin(s) to determine which dog will receive the final four berth and which dog(s) will receive cast win earnings (if any)

*Note: If tied handlers cannot agree on which option, they must flip coin(s) to determine which dog will receive the final four berth.
