On our way down some of the USSA kids and I had the honor to speak at the PKC World Hunt, and meet some of you! I would like to thank Rodger Dale and Jarvis Umphers for giving us the opportunity to share our personal story’s with some of the most avid and sincere hunters in our nation. I can only imagine the hard work and dedication it takes just to be able to participate in this hunt; much less win it!
While browsing the PKC forum, it is clear that some members have also endured serious illnesses and personal tragedies in their lives. The request from you for continued prayer for those enduring hardships and suffering is so commendable. While being tough competitors in the sport you love, your recognition of a higher calling for all of us shows the sincerity of your faith. The courage to pray on a public forum, the wisdom to pray before a hunt, and the insight having a beautiful Thanksgiving prayer on PKC’s home page is a breath of fresh air in today’s politically correct society!!
USSA is a registered 501(c)(3) organization and provide cost free wish trips for children and veterans with disabilities and life threatening illness across the country. We are a strictly volunteer organization and we have granted over 8,200 hunting and fishing wishes throughout our 12 years of operation.
Our charity would like to provide a wide variety of free enjoyable hunting and fishing experiences to the PKC members and family and friends in need. If you know of someone we can grant a free wish for, or have any interest in getting involved with our charity please contact me.
