We had had a nice break from last week's intolerable heat to kick off the 28th Annual PKC Labor Day Classic week here in Southeastern, Indiana tonight. It was about 77 degrees when I pulled into the Sunman Fish & Game grounds around, 6:00 PM. By the time all ten cast winners had returned, it was down to a nice, mild 59 degrees. We had 37 hounds and hunters show up for a chance at the PKC $105 Open Event Money and $500 Added Purse. The raccoon cooperated nicely and every cast winner finished the 90-minute contest with plus points. Everyone seemed to be having a great time and enjoyed the $2,000 raffle festivities! The Final Four split up the $500 Added Purse along with the $1,436 in PKC Open Event Earnings. The other six cast winners split up $600 in CW earnings.
