Minutes of Meeting - Nashport, OH
—March 11, 2016—


Meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm by President Jordan Westrick with 18 members present.

Old business was reviewed with no discussion following into new business.

First item in new business was a location for the 2017 State Championship to be held North of US 30. Bucyrus and Wauseon were nominated as host clubs with Bucyrus receiving the majority vote.

A motion was made to make next year's State Championship a three night hunt with the top 16 hunting on Thursday night with two open events Friday and Saturday nights. Both nights will have $500 added purse.

Another motion was brought forward to make next year's State Youth Championship a separate event. Motion made and passed by majority vote.

Motion made to adjourn by Casey Stallard seconded by Kirk Reitz.

PKC OHIO STATE ASSOCIATION Minutes of Meeting - Bucyrus, OH
—May 11, 2017—

Meeting called to Order by PKC Ohio State President Jordan Westrick with 18 members present, in conjunction with the State Championship.

Old business was reviewed following into new business.

A discussion was held about the upcoming State Youth Championship. The Youth Escrow account was reviewed following donations made by Josh Johnson, Chuck Dunlap, and Jeff Stallard. Each donated $100 towards the Added Purse at the State Youth Championship.

The Bucyrus club will host the 2017 Youth Championship Saturday June 17.

The next item in new business was the location of next year's State Championship to be held south of Interstate 70. No clubs were nominated. Jordan Westrick to look into this, and who may be willing to host.

Meeting adjourned.

The annual PKC Ohio State meeting was held at Cardington, Ohio on Friday May 10th with 29 members present.

Old business was reviewed with no discussion following into new business.

Several members expressed interest in next years Spring Classic location and a possible format change. The Cardington club is willing to host the event in 2020 with the possibility of holding a Legacy Series hunt.

A motion was made and passed to allow the Cardington club to host the state youth championship in the summer of 2020. Locations nominated for next years state championship included Bucyrus and Liberty Center.

The 2021 Ohio state meeting was held July 24 at Crestline, Ohio with 16 members present.

old business was reviewed with no discussion.

Jeff Burdue made a motion to move state hunt to Friday and Saturday. with being up to hosting club to have state hunt Friday or Saturday and legacy on the other night. - motion passed

Location was decided for next year state hunt being April 15-16 at Marseilles Ohio.

A motion was made for state escrow to pay for state leader hoodie and $25 each of the other top 16. - motion passed

Location for next year's youth championship was discussed. Crestline is interested date to be determined.

We also talked about ways to raise money for the youth escrow.

Justin ross made a motion to get the 2021 state youth leader a jacket. Justin and Mark Maginn offered to pay for this year's. - motion passed

Motion made to adjourn by Carson Damman second by Carl Carrol

Minutes of Meeting – Marseilles, Ohio
April 15, 2022

Meeting called to order by President, Jeffery Burdue with 30 members present. Old Business was presented with no discussion. Nominations were accepted for the location of the 2023 State Championship. Nova and Bucyrus were nominated. Members voted in favor of Bucyrus for the 2023 location. Crestline will remain as the site for the 2023 Youth State Championship. A discussion was held on how to get more youth involved. A suggestion was made to possibly try a state youth series.

Motion made by Travis Snyder, seconded by Eddie Gottfried to adjourn meeting. Motion carried.

With 35 members present. Old business Nothing discussed. New business we talked about having to watch schedules to conflict with other clubs during major events. Rick Twinning made a motion to eliminate the North/Central/South. Too long as same club don't have it two years in a row eligible for state hunt. That passed Nova Ohio won vote for next year. Crestline is having Youth State Championship. Motion to adjourn meeting Sammy Wagner second Rich Allen.
