2016 PKC Indiana State Association Meeting Minutes
Letts, IN-
Friday March 11, 2016


The Indiana PKC State Association Meeting was held at the Decatur County Coon Hunters Club in Letts, IN on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 7:15 p.m. The Meeting was brought to order by President, Clarence “Bud” Hood. Bud thanked everyone for participating in the state hunts last year and asked that they continue to participate in hunting the hunts in 2016.

Old Business

The minutes from the 2015 meeting were read by Bud Hood and a motion to approve the minutes was made by Dustin Kern and seconded by Mike Raef.

The 2015 Indiana State Leader was SCH Wipeout Hell on Wheels owned by Shabel/Jones and handled by Bud Hood.
The 2015 State Youth Leader was Jacob Burkett.

The State Escrow Report was read by Bud Hood and a motion to accept was made by Bobby Wilson and seconded by Jim Haas.


New Business

Next year the State Hunt will take place in the Southwest. Any Club that is West of I-65 and South of I-70 may put a bid in for the State Hunt. Clubs that have expressed interest in holding the 2017 State Hunt are: Campbellsburg Coon Club, Campbellsburg, IN; Ace Coon Club, Martinsville, IN; Sullivan County Coon Club, Shelburn, IN. If your club would like to host the State Hunt, please let Bud Hood know.

Next year the State meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. and deadline will be 8:00 p.m.

A motion was made by Mike Raef to order the Briar Proof Jackets for the 2016 Top 16 again next year. A vote was taken and the majority voted to keep the Briar Proof Jackets.

With no further business to discuss Mike Raef made a motion that the meeting be adjourned, Nate Morrett seconded the motion.

PKC Indiana State Association Minutes of Meeting - Sullivan, IN
—March 10, 2017—

The Indiana PKC State Association Meeting was held at the Sullivan County Coonhunters Club in Shelburn IN on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 7:00 PM. The meeting was brought to order by President, Clarence "Bud" Hood.

Bud thanked everybody for participating in the state’s hunts last year and encouraged them to continue to participate in the hunts for 2017.

The minutes of the 2016 meeting was read by Bud Hood and a motion to approve the minutes was made by Kenny Trish and seconded by Mark LaPorter. The treasury report was read by Bud Hood and a motion to approve was made by Kyle Short and seconded by Kenny Tresh.

The 2016 State Leader was SCH Johnson Creek All Biz Iz owned by Nick Imel and the 2016 Youth Leader was Cody King, who was also in the Top 16 with his dog CH Buck Creek Jack Daniels.

Next year the State Hunt will take place in the North. Any club that is north of 1-70 may put a bid in for the State Hunt. Rockville, Monticello, and Murray Clubs all wanted to hold the hunt. Bud decided to put the names of the clubs in a bucket, and draw one out, to see which club would hold the hunt. The Rockville club was drawn out so the hunt in 2018 will be held at Rockville.

It was also decided to change the Open Event entry fee from $50 to $60 next year.

Everybody wants to continue with the Briar Proof Jackets being given out to the Top 16.

With no further business to discuss, Dustin Kern made the motion that the meeting be adjourned. Jeff McCallum seconded the motion.

INDIANA STATE ASSOCIATION
Annual Meeting Minutes - Cross Plains, IN
March 8, 2019

The Indiana PKC State Association Meeting was held at the Bear Creek Coon Hunters Club in Cross Plains, IN on Friday, March 8, 2019
at 7:00 PM.

The meeting was brought to order by President, Clarence "Bud" Hood.

Bud thanked everybody for participating in the state hunts last year. We had a record year with over 29 dogs winning over $1000. Bud also encouraged them to continue to participate in the hunts for 2019. The more participation; the higher the escrow.

The minutes of the 2018 meeting was read by Bud Hood and a motion to approve the minutes was made by Jake Moore and seconded by Kyle Short.

The Treasury Report was read by Bud Hood and a motion to approve was made by Kyle Short and seconded by Kenny Treash.

The 2018 State Leader was SCH Teaquila's Wedding Bells owned by Earl Hochstetler and the 2018 Youth Leader was Cody Barrows.

Next year the State Hunt will take place in the Southwest. Any club that is south of 1-70 and west of 1-65 may put a bid in for the State Hunt. Shelburn wants to hold the State Hunt, and since no other club put in that they wanted it, the 2019 State Hunt will be at Shelburn. A motion was made by Kenny Treash and seconded by Jake Moore that the hunt be held at Shelburn next year.

Everybody wants to continue with the Briar Proof Jackets being given out to the Top 16.

It is also time to elect new State Officers. Email Jerry Moll with nominations for President, Vice-President and Secretary. The meeting next year will be at 7:00 pm and the deadline for entries will be 8:00 pm. Motion to accept made by Kyle Short and seconded by Kenny Treash.

With no further business to discuss, Kenny Treash made the motion that the meeting be adjourned and Jake Moore seconded the motion.

2021 Annual Meeting Minutes - Monticello, IN
March 12, 2021

The Indiana PKC State Association Meeting was held at the Prairie Timbers Coonhunters Club in Monticello, IN on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 7:00 PM. The meeting was brought to order by President, Clarence "Bud" Hood. Bud thanked everybody for participating in the state hunts last year.

The minutes of the 2020 meeting were read by Bud Hood and a motion to approve minutes was made by Kenny Treash and seconded by Sonny Cox.

The treasury report was read by Bud Hood and a motion to approve was made by Sonny Cox and seconded by Kenny Treash.

The 2020 State Leader was GCH Wabash River Bailey owned by Hood/Treash/Sechrest and the 2020 State Youth leader was Bishop Stallcop.

Next year the hunt will be held in the Southeast part of the state. Any club that is South of 1-70 and East of 1-65 needs to get in touch with Bud Hood if they are interested in holding the state championship hunt at their club.

Jackets - Question to continue with Briar Proof jackets. A motion to leave the jackets as is was made by Kenny Treash and seconded by Sonny Cox.

The meeting next year will be at 7:00 p.m. And the deadline for entries will be 8:00 p.m.

With no further business to discuss, Sonny Cox made the motion that the meeting be adjourned, John Coble seconded. Meeting adjourned.

The Indiana PKC State Association Meeting was held at the Sullivan County Coonhunter Club in Shelburn, Indiana on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting was brought to order by President, Clarence "Bud" Hood. Bud thanked everybody for participating in the state hunts last year.

The minutes of the 2022 meeting was read by Bud Hood and the Treasury report was read and a motion to approve the minutes and treasury report was made by Kenny Treash and seconded by Cody Carter.

The 2022 State Leader was PCH Ocean Drives Snooki's Cookie owned by Davenport/Davenport and the 2022 State Youth Leader was Dwight Burkett.

Next year the State Hunt will take place in the North. Any club that is North of 1-70 may put a bid in to host the State Hunt. Rockville, Greencastle, Monticello (Fulton County), Monticello (Cass County) and Newport were all interested in hosting the State Hunt in March of 2024.

This is the last year that Bud Hood will be a National Director and he has nominated Kenny Treash to be Indiana's National Director. Andy Canada approved and Cody Carter seconded the nomination.

Jackets next year will still be the briar proof jackets. This year we used Johnny Wadkins to do the jackets and Brad Clayton approved for Johnny to do the jackets next year and Jason Cooper seconded the motion.

The meeting next year will be at 7:00 p.m. And the deadline for entries will be 8:00 p.m. With no further business to discuss, Kenny Treash made the motion that the meeting be adjourned and Brewser Uplinger seconded the motion.
