Minutes of Meeting - Garnett, KS
—April 01, 2016—

President Bruce Sommer called the meeting to order at 7:20 p.m.

Bruce thanked everyone for showing up, learning the rules and having fun in these hunts. First item of business was where to have the state hunt next year. Blaise Bauer nominated the Richmond Club to have the State Hunt next year again, it was approved since no other club wanted it.

Discussion was held on having it around the same time, next year.

We discussed prizes that were donated for the youth state hunt and wanted to thank Wayne Runnels for donating (4) fishing poles and (4) pocket knifes, Derek Rhodes for donating a 220 Garmin with a 40 collar, Kenny Sloan and Roy Shidler for donating a light, Corey Patterson for donating a light, and the Richmond club for donating the added purse money.

The Girard Club is going to donate money for next year’s youth hunt. Also we will be getting the state youth winner a jacket out of the youth escrow fund.

Bruce asked if there was anything else, and with no further business lets go hunting!
