I still am a firm believer that the dog that trees the coons deserves more points than the current 100. How a dog that can just run its mouth and get those 100 strike points is deserving as the dog that trees coons baffles me. I sure wish PKC would adopt a tree scoring system with 125 for first tree 30 seconds to tree in for 75 and 1 minute to tree in for 50.after that 25..

I know one thing that i am 100 percent sure about, there is not a pkc member out there right now that if they were in the situation of the 'covering dog' fella that would withdraw and say u guys can have the cast I don't want to win this way! I'm sure it wasn't ideal for him either , but my hat is off to all of them guys in the final four. I know how I want one to operate and the ones I hunt don't always operate the way I want them to. But to run a man and his dog down for winning a pro hunt is sort of confusing to me. I think it is quite an accomplishment. Great job guys. Instead of being so shi##y about it lets lift one another up and be happy for someone. Everyone that puts their time in has a right to be proud too. I am not opening up a debate on what a dog should or shouldn't do because I know what a real dog is (although I don't have one lol) and I know what they are supposed to do, but remember they are only dogs. Like i said, congrats to all involved fellas it's something to be proud about.

Congrats on a huge PRO win!
Obviously 99% of us were not on the cast and wished we were. Sounds like a great job of handling as well. Took only what he needed to get the job done and have the highest score at the end of the night. Congrats again.
And to all the semi- finalist and finalists and pro- hunt participants, thank you for a great race that entertained us all year right down to the end

Had a cast at the world hunt one rear. scored 8 singles.. Teflon Don treed 4 and mine treed 4. Never scored a coon together. Another female in the cast got part of almost everyone of them and kicked our can.....

Im not downing the man or the dog. But just want to make sure its known he took only what he could get not what he needed.
