The Prohound is the face and voice of pkc! To no longer have it is a great loss to the sport and to the people who have made Pkc what it is and those people are the ones paying the dues and entry fees that pay your bills!!

I originally joined when it was PCA then it changed over to PKC.
The original 10 owners in the beginning would not believe this like
a J C Ellis or a Roy Tramble. Yes times do change,however,as my business,
I sell farms and timberland,started in 1973 advertising on paper,
(all we had ) and times did change and we advertise mostly on web sites,
internet and so forth,however,I still run ads in newspapers,magazines and
publications for the man who doesn't have a computer or an iphone.
I think at least PKC should have done is mail out and ask the members their
opinion and who does and does not have internet/computer.
Someone mentioned Carton Reynolds who won the world hunt and he doesn't
do internet so what's PKC going to tell him ? PKC,why don't you
send out a card as you have done many times and take a vote ?

After seeing the feedback would it hurt to suck it up and say hey let's change the format up a bit and bring back the magazine.
If it takes 5 dolla more in our membership to keep it so be it but you have taken away a tangible item that makes us feel connected

I for one don’t look at one anymore. I might glance at a few pictures every few months, but with the website and social media. I’ve already seen it a couple months before.

R D did u at least work out a deal with cooner for like 15% of the company ???? Crazy if not . U guys r wanting to pay $5-$10 more when we’re actually all already hooked for $26 more when we get the cooner . That should b worth a lot of money to someone? I cannot see the gain unless something like this has happened. From a business stand point may b sharp may not b legal but def money in someone’s pocket . When we all signed that membership app it sais in plain print that one year prescription comes with that and is included with r money .

Sad,I look forward to getting the magazine,I am going to miss reading about the sport and following the news of who is winning and the dogs in these hunts.
Bad move to stop letting everyone receive their monthly NEWS!
I tell people about Coon hunting and the money that is being won and some people don't believe it,I have shown them Pro Hound and they quickly change their tune.It is a shame this is how the owner shows how he feels about the true fans of this sport!
