I am a long time member myself Andy, and I want to clarify a few things. I think you are right about the original share holders. I hunted dogs for JC in the early days of PCA and the best I can remember the share holders were: JC, Joe House, Nick DiMiacco, SP?, Glenn Baron, Hal Hamerick, Tommy Condra, and I don't remember the rest. I was able to hunt with some of the best dogs in the United States at that time. I will never forget the friends I made hunting in these hunts. I remained close friends with JC until the day he passed. I remember when the first newspaper edition of Prohound was published, Many thanks to Buck Patten and Dick Whitmore for the dedication to making this happen. I was schocked to see this was being discontinued, so many more dollars are being generated now than there was back in the day. Don't try to BS me. It's not the internet that is pushing this, it's the almighty dollar.

I once was PKC Proud, #32, but those days are over for good.

Absolutely a bad decision! Shoot my goal was just to get on the front cover! I myself never look in them anymore but it should be a decision of the person paying there membership! Its that easy! I know making these magazines cost but I promise these magazines made Pkc what it is! Without them you would be a memory!

I don’t get to go to hunts like the guys that’s been doing it for years. But still alittle old school I enjoyed seeing certain things in the prohound monthly without having to do it online. I work in a office and on the computer all day. If I’m honest I would like to take a break from that and open the book and just look back over who’s winning wins what studs are winning their breed races. If we aren’t going to have a magazine then I assume pkc membership is going down? What’s the new dues going to be ? Or is this something that’s saving pkc money on the bottom line that they can drop in the big pot?

Definitely a sorry move there are men who's kids hunt amd they like to show off the magazine there are KIDS (OUR FUTURE) that like to see themself in the pics it's a big deal to alot that domt get to run the hunts to see there pic in that magazine and some.it could be there only claim to fame. It's definitely all about the dollar what pkc makes at the world.and nationals alone.could pay for this plus pay salary and everything else this is nothing but making someone pockets fatter .
I bet they still wamt there 25$ a yr membership fees .
Are we gonna be like ukc now no membership fees cause most wont pay 25$ even if they domt get it watch amd see how.many memberships we loose over this if.pkc dont.do.somthimg fast they're gonna be a thing of the past

Disagreement and disappointment with any change is always expected and understandable. I am certain that all member’s constructive input is being read and given due consideration.
