Has been primarily hunted alone and have treed several coons with him

I would call him a good started dog. Will absolutely tree his own coon. His hole to me is he just doesn’t have the motor I like. He is a 2-300 yard hunting dog. Some drops not that. If you ease him around the woods walking like we used too he looks good. If drop hunting him where he has to go hunting hard does not look good.
Up north he shined like new money, here he trees coons but is not shiny
He is however a fun dog to pleasure hunt
