PKC BLACK & TAN BREED ASSOCIATION Minutes of Meeting
- Adamsville, TN-
December 07, 2012

The meeting was called to order by Mac McClenahan with approximately 44 members present. Motions made to congratulate Lamar Pettyjohn and his Clip female for being our national leader for the year. They received a check from PKC for $274.00 which was matched with a check from our special Black & Tan fund for the same amount. The members were congratulated upon selling raffle tickets that generated $2,000 for our special fund which is used primarily for added purses for winning Black & Tan dogs. The association sold 200 tickets for $20 each to generate the fund. The winner of the raffle won $2,000. MIKE CRANEY of the PKC office was the lucky winner. We appreciate all who bought tickets. It was decided that the fund is presently in good enough shape that we do not need to conduct another raffle next year.

Discussion was held concerning location for Black & Tan Days for next year. We talked about returning to Adamsville as well as Good Springs, Alabama and some other places. We did not have a formal invitation from any club at present so it was decided that our officers will make that decision later. We have always asked that the sponsoring club donate $500 to match $500 added purse from PKC. With attendance being as it has the last few years, it is hard for a club to turn a profit after they donate the $500. Our club officers will do their best to serve our best interests.

Motion was approved to donate $100 from our special fund to the PKC youth program as well as an additional $100 to the UKC American Black & Tan youth endowment program.

Meeting adjurned; 13 members of the top 24 were present to compete for our Annual Black & Tan Champion. Wayne Bell and Uncle Wayne's Monkey took the honors.
