Being as you get a receipt for cast wins, does anyone here list the money won and then deduct the (Travel, dog food, vet bills, entry fees) off your taxes.
Wondering if this would get you in audited ?

Re: Tax write off for hunting expenses ?
My CPA takes care of it as another business. My dog has her own bank account that my CPA has access to. I use her debit card and check book for all entry fees, diesel, hotel fees, vet bills ect..
My sxs, 4 wheeler and boat are tax right off’s as I use them while hunting her. I haven’t had to pay any taxes on winnings as of yet.

Keep in mind you can only show a loss without a gain for so many years before the red flag comes it.
