Nominations for the 2024 PKC Black & Tan Hall of Fame ballot are now being accepted. Please post your nomination here on this thread. Please, only nominate dogs that meet the required criteria (below). Dogs may be nominated only once. Duplicates will be deleted. The deadline to nominate is before Friday March 29, 2024. Ballots will appear on PROHOUND website.
There will be two Black & Tans inducted to the Hall of Fame at 2024 PKC Black & Tan Days, one male and one female. The dog(s) nominated must be a PKC Gold Champion ($10,000 lifetime earnings) or must have pup earnings of $35,000 or more to be qualified! Please post your nominations below!!!

Tom’s total winning were a little over $23,000. In today’s terms, that would equate to ($100,000, lol.)
He was the first or the second black and tan Platinum Champion. Piney Creek Cash owned by Rodney Green won the world but I can’t remember which dog reached Platinum status first.
Tom won prohunts when they wouldn’t have a full entry and only earn a pro rated amount.
Tom won the TN State Championship 2 or 3 times.
Tom won Black and Tan Days 2 or 3 times.
Tom won the First PKC Youth World Championship with me handling in 1983.
Tom won 3rd in the PKC World in 1986.
Tom was in the semi finals of the PKC World five years in a row.
Tom won one of the first Pro Classic in MS. In 1984. Paid $6,000.
Tom earn the title of PKC National Black and Tan in Kinder, MO.
The list goes on—
I don’t know what all his pups won, but did have a few winners.
In today’s world of competition coon hunting, some of the old foundation winners of PKC are long forgotten about. Tom was one of the best coondogs that I ever unleashed, and was always respected as one of the top hounds of any breed.
I would appreciate a consideration, because TOM deserves to in the PKC Black and Tan Hall of Fame.
