Best way to go about this issue! Keep it two hours, have zones, and problem solved. Hunters will have to decide this by using their participation to dictate outcomes!

Move first tree up to 125 and do away with the leash lock rule and 90 min cast will be just fine.

how can a few people from that area change the hunt format to suite them and not the folks that pay all this money to be there and time off work. its helps and benefit those babbling pos and ahonest strike dog is hurt by this change. this sucks just my opinion

The participation would go up and it would be a more manageable hunt that's for sure. The extra 30 min is not going to help much on hunting ground but it will definitely change the outcome of the cast.

The entry needs to be cut by a 1/4 since the hunting time is cut by a quarter

That 100/100 style one hour dog through the world is getting ready to be even more in demand versus that old 25/100 with them eyes 3 times in 2 hours

Hence another reason why I go to fewer hunts anymore

I couldn’t agree more Billy. If I wanted this junk I would just hunt the other KC the payout is better there anyway.

That’s an entertaining idea John. I would doubt PKC would ever make that change. I do believe there needs to be some more novel ideas in regards to dealing with shrinking hunting grounds and the ability for clubs to support such a large hunt. Kudos to the Salem club for being able to pull off 3 major hunts each year. I think cutting down on the number of nights they have to handle would be a good place to start. Shortening the hunting time would seem to offer very little in this regard.

I stopped going to open hunts because they went to 1 hour , I guess I won’t be going to many other hunts now if there gonna take hunting time away ! It’s a damn shame for sure ! I hear another KC is gonna unvail some huge changes with some huge money on the line
