Steadman your a stud..not sure why this needs to be a social security hunt..AArp says im a senior, the woman at hardees at breakfast time says Im a senior, pkc rules says im a senior..Could handle one cast a night and double up on friday or saturday if needed and think it could be fun..Just spent a week at super stakes and saw some 30-40s not hunt two nights in a row because of getting in the late round..Not sure where this sets but maybe after this years world they will hash out some more ideas..Maybe they will break it up into two age groups 55-61 and 62 and over to appease everyone.

instead of calling it a SENIOR WORLD HUNT why not split the world hunt up into age groups.kinda like the super stakes.pkc pays three ways on it and they could pay two on the world.then the old guys like John B would still hunt and the numbers would grow.it would worth a try.if you fill the one pkc has planed for now it will make them think you are for it.but if it flops then they know something else needs to be done.there has got to be a way for the elder to still compete.after all they were and some still are,the back bone of PKC. at least this is a different approach to the problem.

Apparantly PKC Administration doesn't like the idea so everyone has just given up.

I like the idea and know lots of people my age that would hunt but
not going to run with the young guys. My question to PKC is this ---
What percentage of PKC members are older than 55? or older than 60 ?
I think it would be a good thing but the real argument will be the age ?
PGA tour is 50 for the Sr tour and that would be to young but I think
55 or 60 would work. The question then would be,How many hunters would
it take to be a success? and How many would hunt ? PKC---try it !

Actually thought this had been put to bed then as working as a vendor at one of the best paying open events in the country at the palmetto jamboree I found out that their is some interest ..They want to see participation so we may have to rethink our angle on this..Really as a business standpoint they don't want us old folks to cost them any money (so we need to prove we are self sufficient) :).. might be the late rounds but not dead yet :)
