This year’s PKC National Championship will certainly be a unique one. First off, qualifiers from both the 2019 and 2020 PKC Competition Seasons will be contending. Also, as planned last year, there will be an awesome payback of $350 (minimum) to each early round cast winner who is defeated in their late round. This single cast win award credit can be used for your re-entry the next day, if you so choose.
In addition, all early and late qualifying rounds, Wednesday through Friday will now utilize Hunting Judges, under Open Event Rules. All Quarter, Semi-Final and Final casts on Saturday and Sunday will be under Pro Rules with Non-Hunting Judges.
Previous single cast win awards and Wednesday through Friday late round judge expenses will now be converted into awards. The 2021 PKC National Champion will receive an amazing $29,999. And we also would expect these changes to free up a substantial amount of cash for additional Quarter, Semi and Final Awards. With the two years combined, along with these interesting format changes, we expect this year’s entry numbers to increase dramatically.
