It has been a long eleven days. Yes we are all tired, but our most prominent thoughts right now are that of appreciation and respect. It takes a tremendous effort to put over 1,925 dogs in the woods, and to do it night after night for a week and a half.
Hat’s off to David & Mary Dial, Clayton Dial and Vern Carter. Thank you to Tom Wilson and Shane Patton for manning the draw boxes every day and to everyone else that played a part on the Hunt Management end. Thanks to those who served as Satellite Hunt Directors, Panel Members and Full-Time Judges night after night; Anthony King, Brad Durham, Bud Hood, Clayton Dial, Dale Sandell, Gerald Yoder, Jason Kerstein, Jeff Nelson, Mike Hensley, Shane Reynolds, Todd Hodson and Tom Wilson. There are so many bright spots and positive aspects of our sport and these fine folks certainly fit into that category. I have great admiration and respect for those stepping up a doing all that needs done and to those recognizing these people with their thanks and positive comments.
Huge thanks to all of the hunting and non-hunting guides from the Salem, Claremont, Sesser, McLeansboro, Flora, Ramsey, Brownstown and Geff Clubs. We certainly appreciate those who served as hunting judges and an extra THANK YOU to those who volunteered to serve as pick up judges for late rounds and Friday night.
The 2018 PKC Youth World Championship and World Championship were both very successful and awesome events, and the main reason for that is YOU!
