Thank You For A Great National Championship!

The 2019 PKC National Championship held this past week was another outstanding event put on by the fine folks at Salem, Illinois with the ever present help of the Flora & Geff Coon Clubs. What a great job providing quality guides throughout the week!!

This hunt is one of PKC's most prestigious displays of proven hounds and great handlers and it most certainly puts them all to the test. Compared to last year, the entries were up significantly Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights. This growth in entries allowed for an amazing $17,000 increase in awards paid out to successful PKC Members.

Thanks go out to all our Full-Time Judges & panel members; Tom Wilson, James Love, Mike Hensley, Bud Hood, Gerald Yoder, John Ervin and Mike Dowler. Clayton Dial and Shane Patton also helped out with taking entries and other details both on the early & late rounds.

Much respect and appreciation to those members who unselfishly stepped up to judge late rounds after they got beat early. We know it is not an easy choice to make, especially when other hunters are going out, or go to bed. A few of these guys were already headed toward the motel when they found out we needed them and they came back. Thank you; Kyle Short, Kyle Bragg, Logan Ray, Shun Welch, Stephen Campbell, Shane Patton, Brandon Glass, Matt Tolliver, Michael Moody, Coy Sullivan, Jason Daugherty, Ki Roberts, Travis Carlock, Bill Stokes and Spencer Anderson.
